An Invitation

I don’t know if it has struck any of my readers recently that much of what I’ve been blogging about has to do with the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives, and our response to His guidance. And there is a reason for that. I have been doing a lot of studying and meditating on this issue because in March I will attending a woman’s conference and speaking during one of the main sessions. This conference is based on 2 Tim. 1:6, “This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you….” How do we as Christian women in our modern culture fan into flames the gift of the Spirit within us? How does our life look different because God the Spirit lives within? What should be different but isn’t? And how can we change that? So many great, relevent questions. So much to learn and live in as we pursue that highest value of knowing Christ and making Him known.

That’s why  I am excited to invite you ladies who follow my blog, to the Ignite Women’s Conference taking place at Oakwood Church in Hartland next month. I will be teaching one of the main sessions on Saturday morning at 11:30, on “keeping in step with the Spirit.” I am also doing a workshop on love, specifically what the fruit of love looks like in my own personal faith journey.

This conference is being orchestrated and directed by my very gifted friend Becci . She is a wonderful woman of God who allows His Spirit to lead in every aspect of the planning. Becci is innovative and creative and we are certainly in for a very stimulating time together.

This conference is very affordably priced and the early-bird offer, good until Friday March 1,  takes an additional $5 off the price. Please check out the following website if you are interested in attending. I would be so blessed to see you there.  http://www.oakwoodnow.org/event-details/230742/1363390200
