Son Rise

Shadows and darkness,
Clouds all around,
Sorrow and sadness,
Dew on the ground.

Then a tiny ray of hope,
The sun sheds its first light,
The stone has been moved,
What a glorious sight!

The Son in His glory,
Shimmering bright,
He’s conquered death,
And ended sin’s night.

Rays of light sparkle,
Shadows are lined,
The sun rises higher,
It’s light nearly blinds.

Oh, Savior, Messiah,
New life you bestow,
For on us your light shines,
And we’re warmed by the glow.

Born of that light,
Out of darkness we come,
Shadows dispelled,
                                                                                                                                                                                                         As we worship the Son.
