OK, so I’ve been pretty absent the past few months. But there’s a reason for that. I have been working like mad on “manuscript two” and can now say I’ve completed the first draft! That’s right…first draft is completed.  Even the run-through of the first draft with Joel is now complete. I am working on edits submitted by other caring friends.

I had the incredible opportunity last week to attend the Speak Up conference hosted by Carol Kent in Grand Rapids Michigan. WOW~! What an event! I learned so much and received some incredibly helpful feedback. Speakers included Cindy Bultema–you can check out her website at http://www.cindybultema.com, and be totally blessed by this sparkling woman of God; Karen Porter, incredible speaker and powerful mentor; Elizabeth Murphy, dynamic woman of God with a vibrant ministry at Elmbrook Church, and Robin Dykstra, who has an unbelievable testimony of God’s faithfulness that you will want to read about here: http://robyndykstra.com. So much to learn…so little time.  Thank you God for this challenging, empowering conference!
